Default Latest Finished Carvings
Hi Folks,
These are my latest carvings, I finally found time to finish them. March was very busy, I spent a couple weeks in Lake Havasu with family, then my wife and two son's went to Zihuatanejo Mexico for spring break. The moose is basswood stained with watco cherry danish oil and deft satin clear wood finish. The grapes are carved in butternut, stained with watco cherry danish oil and finished in deft satin clear wood finish. The landscape is butternut stained with watco dark walnut danish oil and finished in deft satin clear wood finish. I really like the deft spray cans, my first carvings were brushed on with verathane, much more work. Thanks for looking, please critique and thanks for all the help to you wonderful people here on WCI. When I started carving in January this year I would have been lost without your help.
