Default Key Tag

G'day All,
haven't been on much lately, our carving club invited Ex-pat Welsh Master carver Michael Gould to give us pointers on "High and Low" relief carving and he insists on giving us "HOMEWORK!!" LOL.. also, my wife has been troubled by a severe Sinus infection so "free" time has been restricted.
But I did manage to carve the woodspirit Key tag attached while waiting for my wife at the doctors last week. I borrowed the idea (without asking) from a carver on this forum, but can't remember just who and I hope they don't mind.....The tag is from a Silver Birch branch and measures about 6½" long and 1" diametre...
Regards
John

p.s. My wifes' problems appear to be improving so I might soon have time for carving again

B.Bill,

Nice job, like the remaining exposed branch on both ends, great touch. Also you've inspired me to do some up for a few keys I have around the house hanging just on a ring, like shed, freezer, back gate, etc. Thanks for jogging my brain to think outside the box today.

Bill

Glad your wife is doing better. I was relieved to see the key tag was from a branch, and that there's not a waiting room missing a chunk of wood from an end table. Looks like a good project.

That's a nice looking key tag and just the thing that I'd love to have as a souvenir if I ever get to that land down yonder! Nice idea and thanks for posting it.
