Default Katsina

There are several on the forum interested in the Hopi Katsina. The latest issue of New Mexico Magazine has an article on Stetson Honyumptewa and his carvings. He has gone from the traditional "bellyache" style to figures of dancers carved from one-piece, detailed, with incredibly fluid motion.

Honyumptewa is a gifted carver and artist.
