Thanks for all the Kudos on my good luck at winning a few ribbons. THe real highpoint was meeting old friends and making lots of new ones. Even got to meet a few forum members which was really nice. I was lucky enough to win Best of Show and Carvers Choice for my river scene. I even managed to beat Randy Landen in the whittling contest. I met two new caricature carvers new to the scene which we will be hearing a lot of in the future, Art Mann and a Mr. Birkes whose first name escapes me at the moment. They've only been carving a couple of years but their techniques are polished and they have the most important requirement...imagination! Art had a carved can of sardines that was done so well it made me hungry.

As far as sales, I'm proud to say that all my Native Americans have left the reservation along with a couple of wranglers.

As always, it was a great show!
