Kansas City Wood Carving Show

Hello Fellow Carvers

Just wanted to give a heads up for anyone that might be in the Kansas City area on March 20 & 21st. That's when the Kansas City Wood Carving Club will have their show at Lee's Summit Mo. It will be at the John Knox Pavilion. I'll post another entry with moe information a week or so before the show.

Do you know who the vendors will be at the show? Larry and Carol Yudis? I've been going to the show for 13-14 years and think it's best location they've had yet. Great show.

Watch for a carver by the name of Ron Dowdy,you'll be impressed with his carvings,he just rescently moved their from Hickory,NC.,we truely miss him at our shows.And also a great friend to many down here.

As far as I know Larry Yudis will be there. Also John Krantz, the wood vendor will be there.

Mark: Your loss is our gain! Ron is an active member of the Great Plains Woodcarvers in Wichita and is currently vice president of the club. You're right, he is a very talented carver.
