Default Kangaroo Wine Caddy

Does anyone know a good source for a Kangaroo Wine Caddy plan. I need to carve one up for a Christmas 2005 gift.

I would like something semi original, sized to hold 1 bottle of wine. Standard size bottle, not a magnum.

I don't have anything along those lines Brian, but why don't you take a look over on http://www.accentsinpine.com/accents1.htm , look in their free pattern section, sometimes they have patterns suitable for adjustment to carving projcts.Smile

On second thought take a look at this url.

Shouldn't take too much imagination accomplish what you want from the picture.Smile

Cheers.

Humm, I know the pouch is obovious but I think personally , I would do something a bit unexpected, Like lay him down on his back with his feet up in the air, Then use the front and back feet as the bottle support , with his mouth open and his tail going up into a curved handle, would make it look like he was enjoying himself.

Of course you could just simply make a roo standing , bring his feet together and cut a support circle then use the upper arms as the upper bottle support.

But thats just me rambling again ...

Or the bottle could be in her pouch, with boxing gloves on her, one paw holding the bottle, the other defending it!
There was a cartoon character Kangaroo that I loved...don't remember but I think it was a pal of Bugs Bunny...or maybe Tom of Tom and Jerry thought it was a king-size mouse!

That's pretty neat. That bottle holder and me have something in common. I stand up when the bottle is full but when its empty I fall over.

Merrie Melodies Episode #48

Baby kangaroo Hippety Hopper escapes captivity in a circus and jumps into a
yard where Sylvester is bragging to his son about his alleged mouse-fighting
prowess- and because Sylvester Sr. and Jr. presume Hippety to be a huge
rodent, Sylvester must combat and thus be humiliatingly bested again and
again by the playful, young kangaroo; Bugs' wrong turn in his burrow to
Miami Beach brings him to Antarctica, where he protects a penguin from
capture by an Eskimo; Cool Cat's success in college sports is due entirely
to his reactions on reflex to bee stings of him at key competitive moments.
"Pop 'im Pop!" with Sylvester, Sylvester Jr., and Hippety Hopper
"Frigid Hare" with Bugs Bunny and the Penguin
"Hip Clip" from "A Hound For Trouble" with Charlie Dog
"Bugged By a Bee" with Cool Cat
