Smile Just Whittlin'

Howdy Y'all; I am new to this mode of communication but old when it comes to carving. I started carving when I was about eight years old & a Cub Scout. I am interested in just about every form of wood carving you can imagine. I am particularly interested in wooden fishing lures and I love to make ships-in-bottles as well as other larger ship models. I worked for years as a boatbuilder, cabinet maker and carpenter. Later in life I became a nurse and have reciently retired from that field. If there are any other lure makers/carvers or model ship builders out there I would love to hear from you.
