Default Just a few time wasters

Feeling greatly in need of practice in carving faces with different expressions, I decided to try golf balls and found them to be ideal, they are also a handy size to carry and carve wherever I happen to be. I even fitted a couple to be used as key fobs.. Then while browsing in a local store, I saw they were selling out some kids pencils slight ly thicker than normal so bought some and tried out some wizards on them, as the subject says, great little "Time wasters"
Regards
John

Nice carvings and I agree golf ball are great fun to carve. My Dr. loves to golf and I was amazed at how pleased he was when given a caved golf ball. Thanks for sharing. Like the pencils also have not done any yet

John, nice work! I too carved a few golf balls, and when I worked at a golf course, I would hand them out to "deserving" golfers LOL! Would take the edge off a lousy Tee shot!

Okay! so you think they're "time wasters",. But some pretty nice "time wasters" at that.

Hey John, any time spent carving is time well spent in my books. Nice job on the golf balls and pencils. Some great faces there. Ever tried an avocado seed? Nice and soft to carve, then dries nice and hard.
