Default Just a few more cuts

Have you finished a carving and then looked at it deciding to make a few more cuts would make it a better carving, then,,,,,,,,,, those last cuts did not make it better.
Just finished a rose for the little bride and decides a few more cuts were in order. Well, To my surprise, it did not make it better. I guess, sometimes a person needs to levae well enough alone.

Yeah, been there. You gotta have a plan, then stick to it. Conversely, I have no stories of the last couple of cuts that made the whole carving.

Good timing on this post Ken, I just finished up a Santa, painted him last night and then started thinking hmmmm, he's a little wide on the sides, maybe I'll take just take a little more off. Think I'll just leave well enough alone! Thanks! Callynne
