Default Just delivered my last carving

I had met a gentleman who wanted me to carve something he could mount on the corner of an entranceway (archway) between two rooms. I've never seen or heard of anything like this before, but this is what I came up with. I carved this out of a block of basswood and then notched out the back to fit a 90 degree corner. He was very surprised and pleased with the finished product. It was a great learning experience for myself. Thanks for lookin'.
P.S. I forgot to tell you, his wife decorates the house with an Adirondack theme.

Rich, I bet he was pleased! I'd love to see it 'in place', maybe he'll let you take a picture and you can share it with us!

You did a fine job and should be very pleased with your work! Thanks for sharing it with us! Deborah

Deborah, I would also like to see it in place to see how it fits in with the rest of the decor. I may just have to give him a call. I'll keep ya posted. Thanks for the comments.

Wow! That is some very good detailed carving.

At first I thought that it was a walking stick and you've certainly given me some good ideas! Thanks!
