Default Just a bit of Maori

Having always felt like a square peg in a round hole, I do things a bit differently. I really liked the Maori pendant in WCI and finally came up with this version to satisfy my squareness.

Hope you enjoy it. It is made from Red heart wood.

Thanks for the comments, Jody B, Floyd and Ron T.

Ron T. That is the natural color of the wood. All I did was put a clear coat varnish on it. It is rather orangey while working it but when the varnish goes on it is red and my favorite color.

Well, that puts a different twist on it! LOL..well done Wanda, aren't they fun to do? Funny thing is, if you tell folk you started with a circle or rectangle of wood then had the devil of a time twisting it into shape, a lot will nod wisely and say "I just bet you would" <grin>
Regards
John

Curt, You bet it does. How did you know I planned on it being mine?
Sharon, Isn't it wonderful as adults we know that being different is really good?
Evie, You gotta try one. They are fun.
Hope I didn't miss anyone, I am away from my computer until next Wednesday. I am borrowing my kids.
