Default Junior Cobb, Quail

Hello, I am interested in finding out more about Junior Cobb. I recently acquired a carving of a quail signed by him. I would like to find out where and when it was made and about the artist, also value if anyone knows. Thanks for any help, Susan

Susan .. Try this .. go to google internet search and type in Junior Cobb .. it will take you to several websites .. The website entitled "Elmer Rufus and Ruby Gale Cobb " .. click on it and it will take you to a website about the family .. on that website .. scroll down till you get to a tanish brown insert just below a picture of junior cobb that say's Junior Cobb is a world renowned carver and it says .. click here.. click on it and it will take you to a separate web all about him ..
good luck .. if you cant get it .. let us know ..

P.S. Unfortunately Mr. Cobb has had a serious stroke and doesnt carve anymore

Default The real story on Junior Cobb "whos interested

Wanna know how i know the real story of such a wonderful and talented man...My name is Kenneth Richard Cobb Jr....Junior Cobb is my grandfather..My dad and I have all of his carving tools and his last carving that to this day is still unfinished because of his stroke leaving him blind and partially parylized....If anyone is interested in anything about him please feel free to email me at kenneth.r.cobb@hotmail.com and i will tell more and answer question...I am so glad that people wanna know

Hello,
This is Junior's daughter in law. Junior is unable to carve due to a stroke but also because he has dementia. He loved to carve and he still lights up when you start to talk about carving. He lives in Mountain Home with his daughter.

Junior has passed away today due to his illness sad day for all who knew him and his entire family.
