Default jumpstart on cinco de mayo

I did this guy last week, but just got around to taking pictures of him. Made of out basswood, the only problem I had is I didnt pay attention when I started, and I was working against the grain, which explains the roughness on the face.

I don't know abourt cinco de mayo but I think you little guy is cute. Sometimes I sand the face down with 0000 steelwool. But sometimes that doesn't help.

These little fella's are really neat and this one is unique. Eventhough a little rough the final finish looks pretty good!

Thanks for posting!
