Default Judges Critique

Hey everyone,
Shannon and I were just talking about the Judges' Critique column we've been running lately. We're already thinking of the holiday issue (we work a little ahead) and we both thought it would be great to have a Santa carving critiqued in the Holiday Issue.

We were planning to ask Tina Tooney to critique the carving...but we don't have a carving. Would any of you be willing to send me high-res images of a Santa carving from all four sides for the review?

Thanks in advance!!!!

Bob

Goody,
We'll take your santa for 2006...But we'll need another Santa for 2007!

And if there is anyone who would like to submit other carvings for critique, I'd love to get three more (one for Spring 2007, Summer 2007, and Fall 2007).

Lori Corbett is doing a wren for us for the Fall 2006 issue; Susan Irish critiqued a couple dragons for us for the issue that just came out.

I'd love to get a caricature, a chip carving, and perhaps a fish carving if people are interested (to keep the variety)

I'd also like to get some realistic busts...just about anything you would like to send in!

Bob

Sounds interesting, count me in Bob. I can carve the realistic bust or send you some pictures of what I have on hand. If you let me know what you want carved, Indian, cowboy, Mtn Man, wizard, ect. will carve and send the carving to you for photo graphing or just the pix, what ever works best.

Wink Re: Judges Critique

Bob, I am flattered that you would consider me as worthy to be one of the judges (if you are serious!) I would be honored. Let me know what all is involved.
Let me know if you need or would like any advice/assistance with the rough outs you received.

Hi Bob, how about the Indian I just finished, not quite realistic, not quite a caricature. I would love to have Mark give me some critique on it. Here is the link to where I posted them.
