Haven't taken a one, but since you brought it up I did some investigation and saw that Gary Failn will be instructing a class there this summer. Just had to sign up. It would appear that the school has a long tradition and the ideal environment to work in. Thanks for the heads up! Smile

My grandmother used to teach at the folk school along with other members of my family. I rememer going with her when I was a kid. Her name was Sue McClure,
I started carving myself about three years ago, self taught but hope to take a few classes at the folk school and try and continue the family name in wood carving. I do traditional hand carving, no power tools except maybe to do a little sanding. I still have a lot to learn, just wish I had started years ago with my grandmother.
