Jim-- I purchased this carving when Walt Sill auctioned off Kaintuck Territory along with another just like it that I sold to a friend for $25. Should have kept both. All of my kids worked there while you were there and I even did some carpentry on some of the buildings and the stage. This little carving was part of the reason I got started carving as my wife said,"You can do that." So I tried. I don't remember how long you were there but I expect you have several memories of the place, including Bill Willingham who used to be in some of the old Roy Rogers and Gene Autry shows. I wonder if you remember carving these little mountain men?

I think it's so cool to have someone find something you forgot you did and look forward to seing it after so long. It's happened to me with some of my paintings, I'd sometimes have to think back hard to remember doing it.

Great post
