AWWWW MAN!! Daddio,that pork made my mouth water even with me just getting up from the dinner table! One of theses days,Id like to just keep on driving once I leave Memphis into Ms just head on down to your way.

Merle,thanks my friend for your good thoughts with this turkey I carved but I sure hope I dont have him next fall for any carvers shows. You know who buys most of mine?? Women for either their husbands or thier sons. I haven brought a turkey back home with me which is good seeing Im the bigest turkey in this house! LOL

I appreciate your good thoughts and compliments Merle and I hope you did ok at the VA the other day{s}

Gorgeous, Forrest! Just gorgeous!!! I am always in awe at the way you put a scene together. There had to be a lot of work just in the tree, background and grass below the turkey, nevermind the work on the turkey as well! The close-up shots really show the relief and as always, your painting skills are unmatched.....they really bring it out and I can see why your work sells so well. Who could resist him? Yea Bonnie my good friend,thats why this turkey took a few days with all the carving & cuts but I knew it would be worth it once I got him painted. Most of my carvings are done in a day then I paint them the next morning.

Im gald you enjoyed viewing this turkey and I always appreciate you and your nice compliments!! Thks again Bonnie,Forrest
