Default Jake the Turkey

A Jake turkey is a juvenile turkey thats not a adult turkey yet.
I carved alot of odd cuts in the foreground{bushes, leaves & grass} and background{trees} which I knew would show up as I painted the scene. I wanted it to be either at dust or early dawn when most turkeys are moving around in the woods.

This was a 9 1/4 X 18 3/4 old pine board,I left some of the old gray wood as a boarder, plus a few worm holes on the sides. Its painted with acrylic paints.

Hope you enjoy this turkey and your thoughts or comments are always welcome. Forrest

Congratulations Forrest! You've done something people who know me have been wishing for, for a long time:

You've left me speechless!

My mouth dropped and hit the floor! Absolutely amazing! It's a 3D painting with the frame built-in! Amazing! I can't say any more cause I don't know what to say! WOW!
