Default Ivan Whillock Rose

Hi guys just finished this project from Ivans book Relief Carving Techniques. This was another one of thoses I started and had on the shelf for a while. For me it was quite a challenging project, especilly the center of the rose. The finish is burnt umber oil paint mixed with odderless minerial spirits for stain the feed & wax. Hope you like it , comments welcome.

Thanks for looking

feb, Nice looking rose I like it. The undercutting looks like it could have been a challenge.
