Except for the last bid, the previous 9 bids have been by the same person. Looks like he was bidding against himself and raising the price himself. Don't guess I quite understand his reasoning.Question Question Question

I might be wrong - but it looks like the guy had programed a series of automatic bids. They don't show up until someone overbids his last one... i.e., the guy who has the 41.03 bid in there might have others also - they won't show unless someone goes over his highest one.

That's what I wondered about. Usually it would show the various bidders raising his bid instead of a series of bids from him. Bids I have placed were shown in small increments just high enough to keep me in the highest spot until someone else bid higher than I. Just thought it looked goofy.

Here's the page that explains how it happens...

I get it. (finally) The winning bidder had a high enough bid that all the bids below his were registered but were not high enough to overcome the winner. Takes a little while but sooner or later I'll catch on.
Thanks,
Garon
