Default Irish Sleeper

Course this was another old board with rotten spots and holes in it.

I call him a Irish Sleeper and hes 5 1/4 X 22 1/4 inches. It was fun and a quick relief carving and painted with acrylic paints.

Your thoughts or comments are always welcome.

Wow! I love the "Sleeper" painted, Forrest! You can really bring something to life that you've carved, with your amazing talent for painting. He looks like he could be snoring pretty good, too!....LOL. Another winner, my good friend. Bonnie

Thank you Bonnie! When you have old wood, painting can bring it back around.I have a nice chuck of dark walnut,I hope to carve and leave the finish natural. Thanks again my good friend for your nice comments!
