| | Intarsia I couldn't find a more appropriate folder to post this in, so I decided general carving would have to do.
I am interested in trying some intarsia, but, I don't have access to a scroll saw or band saw. Is it possible to do this type of work with hand tools and a dremel? Thanks!

| | Re: Intarsia Yes, a coping saw will work! Little slow but very easy to work and you can get great results. Dremel will do a great job of trimming up. Good luck and don't forget to share your results with us. We'd love to see.

Hi_Ho_Sliver, That would be a pretty far way to drive in a truck without air conditioning...
I'm having a little trouble finding a starting point. I am trying to find some online step by step instructions on doing this, but I am having a hard time. Does anyone know of any websites that offer a pretty good tutorial for an absolute beginner? |

| | Re: Intarsia If anyone else is interested, or someone ever does a search for intarsia...There is a website with clear and simple directions for someone who does not know where to start. http://www.intarsia.net/
The E-books on here helped me a lot.
