Default Intaglio online and/or books

Okay, so it's probably the simplest type of carving outside of simple incised carving but I'm looking for articles, articles, online examples and general exposure to intaglio carving.

I am a slow learner when it comes to working with my hands and the more I can read or see about a method the better I am able to internalize it when I start out practicing.

The snowman plate in WCI #45 got me thinking that intaglio was just the method for a particular project I have had in mind for some time. The project is a line drawing of some flowers that was on the program to my wife and my wedding (some 20 years ago).

Later today I am going to transfer the pattern in a slightly downsized version to a practice 1/4" thick piece of basswood and give it a go, ala intaglio style. But, before I put a tool-to-wood I would like to see more work done that way and/or see more information on the style.

Thanks in advance,

Russ
Maybe I'll scan it and post it later.
