Default Indian or Mountain Man Pattern

I am looking for a pattern for either an Indian or Mountain Man with a pelt hat of a wolf. I hve seen wonderful carvings done of these and want to try my hand at it. Thanks.

Cleave Taylor has a book carving a mountain man but the hat I believe is a raccoon eyes and all.

Probably the best reference (IMHO) is a book titled "Carving the Native American Face" by Jeff Phares. Jeff is an excellent carver and his books are very informative and relatively inexpensive.

Mark Gargac has a video out that is excellent also. Gargac is a contributing member on htis board. Both Gargac and Phares's pattern could be adapted for the wolf Pelt.
