Default Indian head carving

This is a fast photo of a large indian head carving taken a month ago in Cherokee, N.C. as I was driving through town. Someone a while back posted several others done by this same artist (I think) but don't recall who it was or where they were.
Nice work!

I think the artist is Peter Toth living in Florida?? and who has carved Indians in every state to honor their Nobility. Perhaps making an internet search for "Peter Toth" would give more information.

Peter Wolf Toth, is the artist with more information found by doing a Google internet search which will bring the searcher to a photo directory of each of his 60 carvings of NativeAmericans in every state.

Here is a link to several of his carvings.

His book "Indian Giver" is interesting. It covers from his childhood to monument #29, Troy, Kansas. There was supposed to be a second book but I cant find any info on it.
