Default Imagine My Amazement....

I don't post much in this forum, but I feel compelled to share a recent experience. I am self-taught learning alot from information and inspiration gathered on this website. As I build my arsenal of working tools I usually depend other's endorsements or recomendations.
I started with a flexcut interchangable set that gave me a large assortment of chisels to learn with and the price was in my budget. I have added larger sculpting chisels to rough out with. Recently I have contemplated investing in more expensive foreign-made chisels because the ash handles on the large chisels were cracking and splitting badly.
I emailed flexcut to inquire about the availability of obtaining replacement handles for the larger chisels not wanting to just discard them. The response I got was very gratifying! They are replacing three handles free of charge and no shipping charges!
I know everyone has their individual preferences with hand tools, but in todays economic environment it is almost unheard of to have an American manufacture back it's product at no charge.
With everything said I will "carve on in glee"

I also use some of the Flexcut products, and so far have had no problems with the tools. I am glad to hear about your positive experience.
Lets try to support the companies that offer this type of customer service when ever possible, maybe this will catch on and become the normal result.
