They are addicting! I know some of you have been asking to see them so here is the site. Its much easier than trying to get all the pictures in here. http://www.picturetrail.com/krazykarver And now I've been asked to carve tiny santa's for a store for this coming Christmas. wowsa.. Its hard to think Santa when its so warm outside. At least the garden is all in now and I can make some more chips.. before canning season kicks in. Marci |

Marci, your carved wooden dolls are the first I've seen and they are adorable! What a novel idea! You do a wonderful job on carving such a variety of faces. Do you make the clothes for them, too? If so, I'm really amazed! Very pretty work!

Marci, It sure has been fun watchin your dolls and their accessories take shape. You have developed your own style, and I am sure that your dolls are becoming much desired. And to think I got one of the first ones. Thank you. And thanks for sharing.....Tom H

Good stuff marci, I always enjoy your posts. Do you have to use magnifiers to carve some of the add-ons? Tiny stuff, I'm working on the eagle in issue 30 you sent me. arnie

Thank you all! My mother does the clothing. I send her a naked doll and she puts the character in them with her ideas. She will call me.. "Marsh.. I need more dolls.. " LOL The hanging meat is hand carved. Its amazing how a U guage will bring out a rib cage. *grin* Yes.. Tom.. you got the first one out of this house. Its been fun working on furniture and foodstuffs. I finally earned enough to purchase that sweet lil table saw and now it scares me. My better half is the Master of the Table saw. LOL I just hand him the patterns. He makes alot of the stuff himself. No I dont use a magnifier..BUT I did have to go get stronger glasses with bifocals... *deeeeep sigh* Thanks again. Marci |
