Default I'm still carving...

In fact, I'm carving more than ever because I am now member of a wood carving club, and following a caricature carving class right now.

So even if I didn't post any new carvings in a while, it just means that I'm too busy doing it... I just wanted to let you know, in case someone noticed

I should say that I am carving more... but less pieces of wood. I am trying to get better at it and spend more time carving each character instead of trying to get faster at carving them. Quality vs quantity...

I am also trying to get involved into trying to help bring more people to wood carving.

So you see, in my case, no news means good news...

Cheers,

Gilles

Gilles it is the same for me, in fact I am totally exhausted when I come here at the end of day..... the arthritis is so bad in the evening, I can not move, all the energy I have is for carving. An you should see in the AM when I crawl back into the shop. smile good see you!

Yes Di... energy is another problem here too.

My back is always hurting me a bit, just enough to drain some energy, and at the end of the day, it's killing me. I just got back from a woodcarving class and I'm dead.

Thanks guys,

Gilles

Gilles: I don't know you from a bar of soap.
However, you seem to have been able to rekindle the "spark" to carve.
OR, play music or whatever.
Keep going. If nothing else, the physical exercise rubs off on the mental exercise.
All good.
