Hi Gang, I was looking for a place to purchase the Dave Maggard video on carving woodspirits I remember there was a thread on it somewhere but I cant find it for the life of me. If anyone knows where I can purchase it would you let me know I have tried on line and cant find it. I can find his site but not the video. I called Rick at little shavers he doesnt have it. My sister is visiting me from Philadelphia next week if I could get one to her she could bring it with her. Does anyone have a source near Philly if so I need it fairly fast. Thanks in advance Colin |

I purchased mine from wood carvers supply, Inc. There web site is <www.woodcarverssupply.com>. I am sure they could overnight it or next day it if you were willing to pay for it. Hope this helps.

Chuck, You have probably noticed that this thread was from 2004, so you may not get a response. I had this video when I started carving and it helped me quite a bit. I have since sent it on to Mottles and I think she liked it and shared it with her club. I found it straight forward, easy to follow and carved a decent woodspirit first time out. The video is paired with a set of "Lamp Brand" tools they would like to sell you, but I did just fine with my old basic set of palm tools. It may help you later with tool slection. Lamp tools have been discussed here before. The e-mail address should still be good, the phone # is 1-800-284-6229 and they have video or DVD. Good luck carving. Jim |
