Default Horse Pattern

Hello everyone. This is my first post and I was wondering if someone can help me out.

I got into woodcarving over the summer at Boy Scout summer camp and I was wondering if anyone had a simple horse pattern I could try carving? So far I've only done simple little things like a tomahawk, hearts, and arrows but I really want to carve a horse so I can give it as a present to a friend.
Can anyone help me out?

I can think of two sources that may help. There is a book called carving Caricature animals. You can find it on amazon.com for just a couple of dollars. It has some simple patterns for a donkey at least as well as some cute dogs and other good projects for somone learning to carve. There is also a book called carving Caricature animals, an artistic approach by Desiree Hanje (i know that is misspelled). It has plans for a cute horse that may be good for a beginner. I'm planning to do that one myself.
