Default In Honor of Mary Lou Austin an amazing friend

Mary Lou was one of those people that your lucky to meet even one person like her, in your lifetime and she will be missed by a very large amount of people all over. I did this carving to honor her, when I get onto the other computer where the pictures of her are I will ad some to this post. She owned and operated the campground which our cabin is at, last week she went in for a heart surgery with a 50% survival rate, made it through both parts of the operation just fine. In post op she had an allergic reaction of some sort to some medication and died instantly. If you knew Mary Lou you'd understand why this came as such a surprise to so many people, she was rather stubborn and didn't let anything slow her down not even her old age and poor heart. So here are some pictures of the carving and I'll get some real pictures of her for a comparison.
Carl

I am sorry to hear about your friend. Some people live their lives so fully, it almost doesn't seem real when they are no longer with us.

Good friends are always hard to loose, Carl. It seems the good guys all go far too soon. Please pass on my condolences to her family when you get a chance.

Sorry for the loss of your good friend Carl. It sounds like she was a real special gal. I'm sure she thought as much of you as you did her. Your carving is quite nice and a unique tribute to her. Take care..

Carl,
sorry to hear of your loss, friends of that kind are hard to find and even harder to lose. Your carving is a fine tribute to a lady who obviously meant a lot to you. Thanks for sharing.
Regards
John
