Your is what i was trying to make mine look like.You did a great job on him and i love the paint job.I like the wash on some carving and some look better solid painted.You looks great painted.You raised the bar for sure!!!

I started mine but the wood I had was so dang hard I gave up for the time being and got on to some other stuff, probably get it posted tomorrow, I think it's my best piece ever, I hope it passes the members comments.

I'll have to start carving the other 3 soon because of the Daughters and Grandaughter wanting one. Maybe by the 4th one I can do it faster. I wasn't sure if painting him would mess him up, but the wood made that happen. Glad you liked him and thanks again for the Pattern. Merle |
