Hey Merle, ya did it and it really looks good. I started mine but the wood I had was so dang hard I gave up for the time being and got on to some other stuff, probably get it posted tomorrow, I think it's my best piece ever, I hope it passes the members comments.

Hi Windsong, Thank you for the nice comments. I was wishing that I could get him to look like yours because yours had the cuteness to it. I'll have to start carving the other 3 soon because of the Daughters and Grandaughter wanting one. Maybe by the 4th one I can do it faster. I wasn't sure if painting him would mess him up, but the wood made that happen. Glad you liked him and thanks again for the Pattern. Merle

I dont glue anything well since?? Had a in-vel-lope that didnt have any sticky on it,so I poured some glue on it,the door bell rung and Id forgot about mailing that letter, little bit later,I sat down at my desk, dang if I didn lick that tab on that thers in-vel-lope,took me 2 wks to get that paper off my lips, sucked juices through a straw for a few days,my mouth was soreeeeeeeeeee! So I dont glues nothing! But I liked your painting on this carving,I know that!! Forrest
