I just love this show,its in a nice larger place with a food stand plus plenty of tables and seats and the most important thing is being in the company of the best carvers there is,most all of them are on board here. Plus with a fast ck in with your carvings and the people that put on this show will more than go out of their way to help you in any way they can.

Im not taken alot this time to this show like in the past,Ive carried 25 carvings or so,cause I enjoyed haven carvings in several catories other than my mini's.Ive always showed every one of my carvings here on board but Im saving one I've been working on for the past few days and will paint it this morning. Sneaky!! me~

I have the heart cath next Monday,Im ok with it but the only problem I have is if you need a stent or something,they at the VA take you to the Med.hospital in town,thats what worries me,need something bad enough will I make it to the other hospital in time.

Now,I got the paper work in yesterday,next Thurs I have the pet scan,imaging like a CT but they use radioactive material to diagose with and can't eat this or that before the test and the 12:30pm appt day,I cant do this or that. Plus it stated you could be there 2-3 hrs.

But one thing?? I hope the radioactive stays in me for Halloween then I can dress as a mad carver that lights up and glows in the dark.

Ok whos going to the Hickory Show?? Make sure you say Hi to me,Im bad on names and you might have to tell me your screen name here or just hit me in the head with a chunk of wood.

Forrest,

I am making the trip down on Saturday and then back that afternoon. I have to be back in time to take my 5 yr old trick or treating, so I won't be entering any carvings into the show, but I hope to see you and some of the gang down there!! Looking forward to this one! I've missed this show the last couple of years, but it is definitely one of my favorites!! Ya'll come if you get the opportunity. I will look you up while I am there Forrest!!
