Default Hi all been on the DL for a bit, want to share my new effort.

Like the title says I been gone from carving for a while and this is my first completed try since my accident. Given where I have been I am kind of proud of myself. Sorry to gloat!

This is a Wood Spirit carved in Sycamore. I used only a Flexcut KN-13 Detail knife (I think thats the nomenclature..)

I hope you like him!

Thanks for looking and comments welcome!

You can always tell someone that really loves wood carving. Carving becomes the inspiration to heal. No matter how bad it hurts we pick up the knife and try. Your carving shows some of your pain. Down swept sad eyes and the shape of the mustache at the mouth gives the impression of what you feel came out your hands!
Good Job,
Goody
