This walking stick was a lot longer than pictured. I found the chromed ball, while out riding my recumbent trike a number of years ago.

I saw it and also saw a pick up truck coming toward me. Fortunately, the driver missed the ball. I could not believe how heavy it was, when I picked it up.

This particular ball had a chromed bar that tells the limit that that hitch can carry. The bar and ball is epoxied on to the stick.

And as an added decoration, I used decorative tacks, that are driven in to the stick, like the Native American's did with their various bows and spears.

Great idea! Cool to the palm, comfortable, heavy. Impeccable redneck cred as well.

BTW, don't get too smug about your newfound redneck cred, a trailer hitch ball cane cannot compensate for the loss of cred from riding a recumbent.

Isn't that nice? A chrome sandwich for any cur that want's a bit out of you. How generous.
Does the stick seem top-heavy with the ball? I can't imagine one way or the other.

Should actually be very comfortable. Best cane I had has been a "Bubba Stik", which has a brass horse hame for the handle.
