Default Here are a few pic`s from last weekends show..

The West Shore Wood Carvers had the club show last weekend and I had a blast. Was`nt sure what to expect but everything went off without a hitch. I sold 4 carvings this week from my efforts. The first pic is my display the second is a carving from a Vic Hood class, the third pic is of some santas that Nick a club member carved he is a great chip carver, the fourth pic are some of another club members pins carved and painted feathers, and the last pic is one of Jim Hiser`s another member he calls this one Amish County Chopper...Enjoy I do have a few more...Bruce

Some more great pictures and carvings. The Third picture show not only a great chip carver but a great 3d carver. I had to laugh at the last one,"Amish County Chopper'. The expression on the dude standing on the side of the road. Awesome.

No ribbons this trip Dave as they only had one ribbon this time and it was for best of show and a beautiful chip carved box won it. the box was made from bass and butternut wood. Wish I would have taken a pic of it...Bruce

Keoma the Santas are not mine , they were done by another club member. I`m guessing you are talking about those, he uses some type of varnish to create the red look in the recesses of the the bass wood..Sorry I don`t know for sure...Bruce
