Default Henry Donaldson Died Yesterday

Henry Donaldson in green shirt

I got a PM from Arnold Smith yesterday,Henry his life long friend and carving buddy died yesterday afternoon. At the Townsend wood cavers show I walked out back and on the bench type deal, there was Henry,Arnold & Jeff. Henry was from Scott Ga.

I stopped and said, let me take this picture of yall, three turtles on a log! They laughed! I walked over and Henry in the light green shirt, grabbed my hand,Forrest How have you been doing? He always ask me that every time I saw him at the Hickory show.

Course too,he'd show me his carvings he had in the show! He was a heck of a carver!! Then we'd see my junk and he'd laugh,Forrest I like this or that. I didnt know him that well but one thing all of us guys, Bart, Frank,Mark A,Mitchell,Tony,Blake,Jimmy B,Allen, and his Best friend,Mr.Arnold Smith plus others I forget their names right now but we yall will miss Henry,I know I will!

I dont have any pictures of his carvings, think he just got on board here but oh man could he could carve!!

I dont know what else to say,Im sure Mr,Arnold knows more about the details and he approved of me posting this and the last pict of his dear friend!! I emailed it to him on his request a few mins ago.

Ive heard which is true God knows every hair on our heads, they are numbered and when we will die. Pray for his family and his best friend,Arnold,I know I will.

Heres three great carvers,

Forrest

Forrest,

Thanks for sharing the picture of Henry. He was sure a great guy and will definitely be missed! What fun we would have when everyone would get together. My condolences go out to Henry's lovely wife and family and to his dear friends Arnold and Frank! I will miss ol' Pepperoni! Man, he sure could make me laugh!

Blake

Great picture of Henry...doing one of the many things he was good at, smiling and enjoying good friends. I was glad to have known him.

My prayers are with family and friends.

Sorry to hear, that, Forrest. It is sad, indeed, to loose a good friend and to all the rest of us to loose a fellow carver. Another one of the "GOOD GUYS" gone.
