Keith.. Try a Dremel cut off wheel if you have a dremel motto tool .. it works very well .. and pry off the half with a small screwdriver .. Put the golf ball in a vise when doing to keep away from hands ..
It worked well for me ..
God Bless
Gene

One of the guys in our club recommends using a burning tool. It seems to work nicely. Don't let the melting plastic get on you and it's most likely not too safe to breathe the smoke.

Note: I changed the title from "help" to "help - golf balls". By doing this, the system will link similar titled threads for ease in reference......these are at the bottom of the page. Look through them for more information on carving golf balls or even try the search function.

I have only carve three golfballs and I used my scroll sawto cut them.. Watch the blade closely for sure and rotate the ball. then I used the piece I took off for a base.

I think a SLICE would do it,,or maybe a HOOK? I don't know much about golf,,but I hear golfers use these terms often,,,I assumed they were talking about carving and that's how they cut them,,,hope it helps
