Default Help Anatomy book

I have six or seven anatomy books which are about 30 years old, for art students ....and they show mostly old masters drawing. I need a good anatomy book for movement, and form. I saw a book that is for computer graphics...but want to post to see what people use before I purchase anything. thanks for anyone suggestions.

Probably the best book ever published on humans in motion is that by Eadwaerd Muybridge. (Amazon.com: The Human Figure in Motion (9780486202044): Eadweard Muybridge: Books) He also did one on animals which is great.

I got the one of the animals..got some great horse pics in there. I am going to order the humans as they got a CD with it now. Also I was looking at Anatomy for Fantasy Artist: An Illustrator Guide and Zbrush Digital Sculpting Human Anatomy. I spent the last five days...digging and looking at other peoples work... I noticed that this where most people make mistakes...including me....smile. Lynn thanks for the suggest.

Look for any of the books by Jack Hamm. A lot of human figure in there.

I've got a collection of current anatomy books. One I'd recommend is "Human Anatomy for Artists" by Andras Szunyozhy. I did not buy it for woodcarving, although there is definite promise.
