8) I'm new to this site, so here goes! Been carving for 27 years. I like realistic human, but will try my hand at most any thing I find interesting. Nice to have you aboard. Sounds like you bring a whole lifetime of experience with you I am sure you will be passing on some good advice. I am scheduled for a course with Jeff Phares in June carving Realistic Human. I have all of his books and it will be my first attempt to carve a complete head I am really looking forward to it. Thanks everyone,and thanks Colin for the tip on the web site. I will try to post a picture in a few days. I have never taken one of Jeff's classes, but have most of his books. Have taken classes with Fred Carrington, Willard Stone, and his son Jason Stone. Have not had time to take many since then, really miss going to War Eagle Seminar.

??? ??? : Hay 'I'm New', are you talking about the National Carving Museum at Monument, Colo.????? We're just down the road and around the corner from where it use to be. (Monument, I mean) So welcome and come again soon. I haven't been carving nearly as you, but I have just as much fun-----but, then don't we all. You make furniture and I make bows (like bows and arrows)----so we both have extra hobbies hanging 'round. See you here again soon. charlie
