Default Hello from Dale O / Timberwerks

Hi Everyone

I just wanted to stop in and say hi, it's been a while. I have some interesting things to share with you in the months to come. It will shed some light on the reason why I have not had time to chat here more often. I will post pictures of this project as it goes through it's stages ( not a carving ).
I will also give a little more detail to how and why this project came about.

Until next month, take care all
Dale

Actually that is what's been taking up my time. I haven't broke ground yet but the outlook is for the first part of October. This has been a very time envolved process. First we had to secure the loan. That took over a month alone. Next step was building permit and zoning issues. Now the site survey is being done. After that we can tear down the old garage and start building the shop. I will take before, after and progress pic's. I will be doing all the work myself except for concrete. To maintain an income I will be selling firewoods and doing tree removals and sawmill work. By the way I do have a few good Basswood logs laying around that I will mill and pass on to you carvers out there.
The goal is to have the shop weather tight by December. It's still going to be a busy few months for me but the outcome will be worth it. I can't wait to get back to my carving and wood working. I am also looking forward to having a shop of my own. This means I no longer have to worry about theft or broken tools by others. Also saving the money on rent will be nice.

Take Care
Dale

Hey Dale, sounds like quite a project. Best of luck with it.
