Default He wants a Carvin" Jack by Flex Cut

HI Gang, Curtis is having a fit for a Carvin' Jack and has called
Woodcraft, but they told him it would be February before they have any. Does anyone have one of these.?( I am sure there are lots of you out there) Is it a good knife and worth the price? Could anyone tell me where there is one now and I wanted to get it for him for Christmas, but I wish he would have these fits earlier.... lol Maybe it will give him inspiration to do some carving soon.. Thanks so much for your information.... Charlotte

Charlotte: When, not if, he gets it, would you ask him to post his opinion of the 'Carving Jack?' I haven't heard of anyone who has tried one.

Thanks Ken in So Cal

Charlotte,
I was in touch with my dealer and she advised me that Flexcut were only sending one to each dealer because of the big demand for them. I have looked at it but it seems to me that it is a lot of money for what you get. Unless you go somewhere without your tools and I never do then I guess its a good deal but most of my carving is at home and I could probably buy 8 knifes and gouges for what you have to pay for the carving jack. Maybe its a good thing I really cant offer any opinion because I dont know of anyone who has one.

You are right Collin, one could buy a lot more for his money. I think Curtis is mulling this over... It's his Christmas, if it will give him more incintive to carve.... well........... hummmmm....
We will let you know the outcome. Hi ho..... I thought so....
