Default HAWK Watching Finished

Hi all just finished him this morning. used burnt umber oil paint mix with odderless minerial spirits, three coats of Deft Satin, and a coat of Howards feed& wax. comments welcome.

I've been waiting for this carving Feb - very nice. The beads look very real. Unique carving on the hair. Well done all around.

Forrest, thanks for looking, the wood is catalpa and it is 4 inches thick and 1x2 ft. tall. I also love the grain a lot of people think i'ts butternut it carves easy a little trouble the grain, but i'm getting use to it.

Patrick thanks seein how we carve similar size projects you have been a big influence. I think my indians have an Irish accent, lol.
