I havnt been carving lately, and I havnt posted for a while so I just wanted to say hi. It's bad enough to be sick for a couple of months, but when your to sick to whittle it really stinks. But hopefully I will get to it soon. I saw a really nice angel in the holiday issue of the magazine and if I get feeling good enough I want to give that a shot. And I also have to get a couple more ornaments done before christmas. So wish me luck. And I will try not to go so long without checking in.

Darin, I hope you are feeling better soon. Maybe you can sketch some ideas for future use in carvings.

G'day Darin, hope you get better real soon. Sure is a bummer when you are too sick to carve! Joe.

| Hi Darin! So sorry that you have been ill and not been able to carve. I truly know what that is like and you're right...it really does stink. I've just recently "pushed" myself to get back to my carving. It is vital that I be creative no matter how difficult it is to first get at it yet, once I'm there I wonder what took me so long. There are definite healing benefits in the creative process. Hope you are feeling better and that you can carve real soon. Leslie |
