Default Havnt been carving

I havnt been carving lately, and I havnt posted for a while so I just wanted to say hi. It's bad enough to be sick for a couple of months, but when your to sick to whittle it really stinks. But hopefully I will get to it soon. I saw a really nice angel in the holiday issue of the magazine and if I get feeling good enough I want to give that a shot. And I also have to get a couple more ornaments done before christmas. So wish me luck. And I will try not to go so long without checking in.

Darin, I hope you are feeling better soon. Maybe you can sketch some ideas for future use in carvings.

G'day Darin, hope you get better real soon. Sure is a bummer when you are too sick to carve! Joe.

Hi Darin! So sorry that you have been ill and not been able to carve. I truly know what that is like and you're right...it really does stink. I've just recently "pushed" myself to get back to my carving. It is vital that I be creative no matter how difficult it is to first get at it yet, once I'm there I wonder what took me so long. There are definite healing benefits in the creative process. Hope you are feeling better and that you can carve real soon. Take good care of yourself.
Leslie
