Default Hair Sticks 'n' such

G'day All,
It's been a bit quiet on the board lately and I am behind in my carving, about all I've managed recently is these couple of hair sticks and a first attempt at the Maori pendant shown in the Summer WCI. So I thought I'd post them in the hope of stirring up some action <grin>
Regards
John

John, Boy oh boy, you really did a good job! I am so glad you tried the sticks. Both of them are gorgous.
Love the pendant too.

Nice job on the stir sticks John. Wanda could really hair things up with those. Your carving is very neat, and they look to have a very nice finish on the too.
Nice job, Tom

Nice job on the carvings I especially like the Moari pendant. I was reading the article again a couple days ago. Now that I finished my mini cane carvings I will attempt it. Thanks for posting

Thanks Ron,
always nice to hear from you friend.

And thank you Wanda for your nice comments, means a lot coming from one who's experienced in this type of carving.

Dan, appreciate you taking time to look and comment.

Glad you liked them Tom, they were fun to do, and they are finished with 3 coats of Danish oil.

Robert, thanks for your comments, and yes you should try the pendant, I intend to do more. but will pick a more heavily figured piece of wood next time.
Thanks again All.
John
