Hang on to that carving! Harold is one of the top caricature carvers in the country. He has been teaching for many years (still is) and started many carvers in the hobby. Congratulations!

He lives near the (now abandoned) theme park "Dogpatch". It is just south of Harrison and north of Jasper here in NW Arkansas.

I will be seeing Harold next week and will take a copy of your photo with me. Could you e mail me another at pdguraedy@yahoo.com? That way I can blow it up and get a good copy. Do you remember about when/where you purchased it. I will ask Harold if he has any idea when it might have been carved.

I will be gone next week so will be a week or so before I get back to you.

Thank you Paul for the information on this carving! I use to set up at the big flea mkt in Memphis for 13 yrs selling my tote painting art work. One morning I was walking around visiting other people before the doors open and found this little carving on a table of junk. I know Ive had this carving 18 plus years. I will be emailing you more detail picts from my tnartist05@yahoo.com I have seen your art work and know where you live in Ark,love the mtn areas there. Use to drive over in Ark to view the beautiful sites there. Thanks again, Forrest{Tnartist}
