Default Group of Unusual Supsects Cont (Again)...

After getting advice from board members and trying to re-size my pictures I am not sure the order they will appear. They are a group of knots that I have finished lately and just wanted to share them. I'd like to show them in the raw form but I think I have to start another thread. So here it is for now.The knots are hemlock.

Now, those look a lot better than some of the "knotheads" I've run into over the years! Nice work on all on them!

Ive been to your home and seen alot of your knot carvings in person. I like them cause they have such character about them plus I know how hard it is carving a hemlock root! Theses are nice olde buddy! Keep up the good work. Im worried?? When you move where will you find certain wood to carve with? Butttttttttttttt Im sure you will and it too will be neat carvings!

just hanging in my art room....Forrest

Thanks for your comments. The hillbilly one was actually carved about 2 years ago when I first started carving.I am getting a little burned out carving knots so I am starting a new character.I have several big chuncks of mountain laurel so I am starting a new wood spirit. Thanks again,Davy
