I just purchased Grizzly's Bench Filter G9955 $121.00 yesterday. Stopped in Springfield Mo at their Store and was impressed how clean and nice their store was. The Helpers were extremely helpful and equally as nice. Even looked around and plan on some more of their equipment. Set the Bench filter up today and used it with a 10"x 20"x2" filter. We like it! Dual fan and plan on running it when we use Dial-A-Temp burner. Grizzly is having their summer sales. If any are interested in Grizzly's equipment, www.grizzly.com . I recommend them. Not all of their equipment are of the highest quality but what I saw and the prices, hard to beat. I believe there are a few others that have purchased Grizzly's equipment on this board.

Darn this is the wood carving board not hte motorcycle board! I own some GRIZZLY equipment and have been pleased with it. When I am not carving I enjoy working on motorcycles. This Mill/Drill/Lathe is a lifesaver when I need a part I can just turn around and make it. Could not have built the Bar stool racer without it. Whole new meaning to falling off the bar stool and yes we really do race them. Goody

WOW....LOL....that racer looks perfect for my needs! Smile My wife has been telling me (reading me the riot act) that I should swallow my pride and get a motorized wheelchair or a motorized skooter (4 wheel) to help me improve my mobility. I can walk, just not very far! "That"....I would drive! Na....I'd probably fall of the thing......it is called a Bar Stool Bike, isn't it? Great job Goodie...love it. You started my morning with a chuckle, thank you! Bob

Talking Callynne P.S. Did you like the milk and cookies I left out? Let me know which your favorites are, I'll be sure to make them for next Christmas Eve! |

Now we know Santa actually uses a motorized bar stool. Thanks Goody for the pictures and BTW, I am a rider from way back. Just got back from missouri where the in-laws live and my Father-in-Law still rides . He will turn 80 the 31st of Dec. Liking the Grizzly Bench Filter more and more.

I have also become a big fan of Grizzly power tools. My school woodshop program really puts the endurance test to any tool since the kids are learning, testing, and mostly just learning to get comfortable in shaping their wood. Finding a good belt/disc sander that could endure such use and abuse seemed like only a far off dream. I went through just about every stationary sander made by Delta and they all seemed to last only 4-6 months before burning out the motor. I finally came to the conclusion that it was more economical to just buy the cheap $99.00 belt/disc sanders since they all seemed to burn out in a short time. Then over a year ago I read the reviews of a low rpm Grizzly belt/disc sander that sells for about $430.00 plus shipping. That baby is tough and has more than passed the test of time and ultimate kid usage with no signs of wear on the motor. I am very impressed. Like you said I'm sure that everything there is not of such quality but this particular sander is most definitely worth the money. I have a Menonite friend who buys nothing but Grizzly router bits and they appear to be a good deal for the dollar. I've also heard very good reviews on their band saws and if my Jet ever wears out I'll probably go with Grizzly since their prices are so good. I'd reccomend that all woodcarvers order a Grizzly catalog.
