Default Great Book!

I bought Shawn Cipa's book 'Carving Folk Art Figures' and its great! I just finished Santa long legs, and he's so cool! I'm working on one of his angels now. Some of the other patterns in his book are not just for Christmas. There is one for Valentines Day too. Its been a long time since I've seen real good character patterns. Give it a try!

Noel,
I agree, they are some of the best quality patterns I have seen. I expecially like the 4-view patterns of the carvings.

I agree - I really admire Shawn's work and particularly like this book. It's a good book for inspiration, even if you don't use the patterns.
