Default Grandsons carving

Hi all, still working on the family portraits and although they are quite challenging they do help to improve my carving skills a lot. I didn't do a Wip on this one but I will be doing my grand daughter next I think, if you want me to send more pics PM me. I finished this the same as the last one 2 coats krylon 1311 and 2 coats feed&wax natural finish. Comments welcome.

If you need to improve your carving skills, then that means that for the last few years I have only been massacring wood.

That there looks great. Yes more pics please, and maybe a WIP to. We here are very greedy folks as far as knowledge for carving

Thanks guys and gals you make me feel all warm and fuzzy. I will be doimg a lot of theses realistic carvings. I sent a lot of pics when I was carving my daughter, but thought maybe it was to many. I will send more on my next one, from start to finish. Thankyou for your comments.

That is really an outstanding piece of work there. Most definitely will become a family heirloom.

I guess we all feel we need improving BUT!!!!! I mean to say I am so far below your skill level now that if you improve any more I may have to give up.

Thankyou Sean. Josef don't give up, I've only been carving for 6 yearss you just have to deside what kind of carving you want to do and keep at it. I have desided to do mostly realalistic carving.
